The Board of Directors has been working over the last few months on alternate pins at Old Post Park DGC. Thanks to the effort of the Board, and more specifically Mark Lykins, Doug Housley and Harvey Wilson, those pins are now in play. Get out and play those new pins!
Hole 4 was moved about 60 feet or so towards the road making the hole longer and bringing in a chance to go OB while putting or approaching. The hillside is damaged from all the traffic so this pin placement will be stay here for the foreseeable future.
Hole 5 now has a 3rd pin placement. This will be considered the “Extra Long” location. OB is now more in play as the entry to the 2nd parking lot is OB. Players will need to be extra long and extra careful on their drive to even have a chance for birdie.
Hole 17 will be sharing this alternate location with Hole 1. Currently this placement is considered 17 Long. This extends he hole about 75 feet and makes it a much tougher birdie. When 17 is in its short or original location, this placement would be considered the short location for Hole 1.
